International Bowen
Conference
October 25th & 26th 2008
Winchester, Hampshire, UK
Following on from the
success of last year's conference in Salzburg, the next
International Bowen Conference is being held in the historic
location of Winchester College, Hampshire, UK.
The conference brings together an
outstanding group of speakers and presenters. The conference
will be a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas and is
designed to greatly enhance Bowen practice by exposure to new
ideas and concepts.
The conference is open to
all and will feature presentations by:
- Ossie and
Elaine Rentsch (AUS), Founders of the Bowen
Therapy Academy of Australia responsible for bringing Tom
Bowen's work to the world
- Dr
Nader Butto (Israel) - Cardiologist and author of
several books on alternative and integrative medicine
including the best seller Medicine and the Seventh
Sense and Medicine and the Seven Universal
Laws.
- Liz Koch
(USA), author of The Psoas Book, Core Awareness:
Enhancing Yoga, Pilates Exercise & Dance and Unraveling
Scoliosis CD. An international somatic educator and the
creator of Core Awareness TM - recognizing the essential
role of the physical core, Liz has over 30 years experience
working with the iliopsoas muscle and is recognized
internationally as an authority on the core muscle of the
human body.
- Dr James
Oschman (USA) - biologist and physicist, and
author of the acclaimed book, 'Energy Medicine'.
- Michel
Odent (UK) - a celebrated pioneer in the natural
birth movement for over 40 years. Author of The
Scientification of Love, The Farmer and the Obstetrician and
The Caesarean.
- Malcolm
Levinkind (UK) - Honorary Senior Research Fellow
at the Eastman Institute for Dental Surgery with a special
interest in paediatrics and the relation between posture and
bite.
- Louise
Tremblay (CAN) Margaret Spicer

There will be opportunities to take
post-conference workshops after the conference with:
Cost: £165 for the 2 day
conference if booked before the end of August.
